I'm wondering but it is a twisted idea, whether this missing "V" could mean anything like a reference to Pynchon or to this "V" victory-sign this character do page 480 ... probably not ... but can't think it's a mistake .

Page 222 - 'NOTRE RAI PAYS ?'


This has just no sense in French or Quebequois. Either it is, more likely, "NOTRE VRAI PAYS" "our real/true country/nation" or an obscure pun ... I'm wondering but it is a twisted idea, whether this missing "V" could be anything like a reference to Pynchon or to this "V" victory-sign this character do page 480 ... probably not ... but can't think it's a mistake .
